Your homepage has one job: to make the right person feel recognized, then point them toward the next step. Not to explain everything — to start the right conversation.
Work top to bottom. Each section shows why it exists and an example in the brand voice — then you write your version in the field. Your writing saves automatically; use Download / Print to keep a copy or hand it to a designer.
The Pattern Unblocker
Stuck on the headline? You’re trying to describe what you do. That’s the trap. Instead, write the one sentence that would make the right woman feel caught — even if it names no service at all. Say it badly first; clarity lives on the other side of the mess.
01
The Hero
The first screen. One line of recognition that names who she is or what she's carrying — not what you sell. If the right person reads it and thinks that's me, it's working. Pair it with one quiet sub-line and a single invitation.
Example — headline
You have outgrown what you've built.
02
The Gap
Name the tension she's living in before you offer anything. Mirror her interior state so precisely that she trusts you understand it. This is recognition, not persuasion — describe the problem, don't sell the solution yet.
Example
The problem isn't what you're building. It's what you're building from. There's a version of you who is clear, decisive, certain — and a version the world meets. The distance between them is exhausting.
03
The Reframe
The turn. Offer the new way of seeing the problem — your method's core idea. This is where she feels the relief of oh, it's not what I thought. Keep it to the one idea that reorganizes everything else.
Example
This was never a branding problem. It's a congruence problem — the outside and the inside haven't been matching. The work isn't to become someone new. It's to build something that finally reflects who you already are.
04
The Path
Now — and only now — show the way forward. Not a feature list; a pathway. Name where to start and what it leads to. One clear primary step, an optional softer one beside it (the book, the assessment, the free thing).
Example
Start by naming your pattern. The Assessment shows you the specific way you've been building from the outside — and the first move to close the gap. Or start with the book.
05
The Invitation & Proof
Close with a direct, unhurried invitation — no urgency, no pressure. If you have proof (a line from a client, a result, a credential), let it sit quietly nearby. The tone is an open door, not a hard sell.
Example — closing line
Start where you are. The work is recognizing what's already true.

Prompt 1 · Draft my homepage
Act as my brand copywriter. My work: [what you do and who you help]. The gap my person feels: [the tension she lives in]. My core reframe: [your one big idea]. Write a homepage in five sections — Hero (headline, sub-line, button), The Gap, The Reframe, The Path, The Invitation. Voice: a thoughtful guide, not a motivational coach. Write to "you." Recognition over persuasion. No hype, no exclamation points, no emoji — plain, literary sentences with the occasional em-dash turn.
Prompt 2 · Sharpen my headline
Here are rough versions of my homepage headline: [paste]. Give me eight sharper alternatives that make the right woman feel recognized, not described to — each under ten words. Voice: a thoughtful guide, not a motivational coach. Write to "you." Recognition over persuasion. No hype, no exclamation points, no emoji — plain, literary sentences with the occasional em-dash turn.
